What to Expect from the Fall 2020 Seasonal Collection

          Each year we produce a comprehensive collection of stylish pieces for men and women. This year we have once again joined forces with Johnstons of Elgin, Schneiders Salzburg, and our long-time mill partners to create a versatile collection of high-quality prêt-à-porter tailored garments and outerwear and limited-edition knitwear styles and colorways. Though our traditional range for men and women is always available, new cashmere, Shetland, Geelong, and lambswool colors are available this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a shortage of Scottish and Australian wools. Moreover, the pandemic has necessitated differences in our suppliers’ manufacturing procedures, which have resulted in limited quantities of finished goods being delivered. We encourage you to pre-order items (where available) and contact customer service (CustomerService@LanamShop.com or 1 (833) Lanam-33) to ensure products are in-stock. There are longer lead times on special order products, which we have noted in the product description.


Schneiders Salzburg (Arriving October 20th, 2020)

Schneiders has been manufacturing fine outerwear and clothing for men and women since 1946. Each piece is crafted in their Austrian factory, to some of the highest standards in the industry. Beautiful wool and cashmere blends are decidedly soft. Elegant cuts and flattering silhouettes are a staple of the Schneiders collection. We stock an assortment of pieces for men and women in a range of colors. Timeless pieces, perfect for the cold weather ahead, Schneiders will become a new favorite of yours.

Men’s

  • Ulando- A classic car coat crafted in 80% wool and 20% cashmere; this traditional design is a staple piece. Slanted exterior pockets, elegant button front with sturdy full-length zipper behind, and fully lined. Visatile and elegant - available in sizes 42-48 in Navy, Charcoal, and Light Grey.
  • Donato- The traditional toggle coat. Crafted using a blended wool material, this water-resistant coat with attached hood will be able to withstand any inclement weather Mother Nature can send your way. Real braided leather straps hold the horn toggles in place. Stocked in sizes 42-48 in classic blue and chocolate.

Women’s

  • Elly- This beautiful reversible style is available in a collection of timeless autumnal colors. Crafted with a blend of very soft, fine wool and cashmere this comfortable fitting sweater features durable metal snap closures and large gusset pockets on both reversible-facing sides. Two versatile coats in one, this practical garment will be your new every-day coat. Spice/camel and blue/charcoal colors are available in US sizes 10-16.
  • Tilda- Elegant full-length topcoat, this attractive feminine cut is equally suited for the boardroom or a quiet evening out. Full button front, tasteful hand-stitched edging, and maneuverable collar design. Fully lined, with fleece-lined pockets for added warmth. Available in US sizes 10-16 in charcoal, medium grey, and navy.

Please note, additional colors and sizes are availble for special order. Men’s sizes range from US chest size 34-56 inches and US women's sizes from 6-20, depending on the style. Please contact us for more information about availability and placing a special order.


Johnstons of Elgin (Ready to Ship)

By Royal Warrant, Johnstons of Elgin has been a celebrated manufacturer of luxury knitwear and piece goods (fabrics) since its inception in 1797. The last knitwear company with true vertical integration, Johnsons controls every step in the process: from Kashmir goat to final stitch, each sweater is subject to their high-quality standards at every point.

Men’s

A thoughtful collection of Merino sweaters, lambswool sweaters, cashmere sweaters, and accessories (such as gloves, hats, and scarves) are available. V-necks, crew necks, cardigans, and quarter-zips are produced in a tailored collection of seasonal colors. Each detail hand-finished, Johnstons makes a wonderful gift, or investment in your own wardrobe.

Unisex Accessories

Classic colors and bold tartans comprise the beautiful unisex accessory colection from Johnstons of Elgin. Traditional solid and tartan cashmere scarfs, pure Vicuña accessories and Vicuña and cashmere blends, and a selection of robes and sleep accessories are all available. We were receptive to your requests and have added new colors and tartan patterns to our collection of perennial favorites.

Alpaca Department

We have added new styles to our men’s alpaca outerwear collection, including a new bomber and walking jacket. For women, we have expanded color offerings in our traditional Alpaca Reversible Coat and offer a host of new pull-over and cardigan sweater styles. We also have added new colors to some of our classic Baby Alpaca and Merino blend designs for men, including the much beloved sweatshirt style, classic v-neck sweater, and layering go-to vest.

Cashmere Department

Make an investment, for yourself or someone special, by selecting an offering from our cashmere men's or women's cashmere departments. Our cashmere fiber is carefully combed from the inner coat of free-roaming Kashmir Goats, located in Mongolia. Beautiful and soft pure white cashmere fibers are sent from Mongolia to our yarn spinner in the countryside of Yorkshire, England. There, they are transformed into richly colored yarns. They are knitted into our classic range of sweaters by a highly respected woolens mill in Hawick, Scotland. An exceptional value. Handcrafted, expressly for The Lanam Shop.

Super Geelong Department

Presently, Super Geelong is only available in our men’s collection. With a range of classic styles you are sure to find a perfect gift for your husband, friend, or son… or perhaps the perfect gift for yourself? Geelong is a greatly underappreciated material. Softer than traditional lambswool, Geelong is also warmer, and lighter weight. Perfect for everyday!
