Known for their sustainable supply chain, Johnstons controls every step of production— from the farm, to the mill. With uncompromising standards, Johnstons of Elgin has honed skills over generations, resulting in the finest men’s lambswool jumpers available today. Their Lambswool is collected from heritage Australian flocks. Ideal for knitwear, the fine wool fibers can be knitted tightly enough to maintain body heat while also allowing natural heat exchanges to occur— preventing overheating. Sheared wool is dyed, blended, and spun by master spinners in Scotland. From there, individual trim pieces are knitted separately and transferred to the main knitting frame by hand. Every men's Scottish lambswool sweater is washed in the soft, pure waters of The River Teviot. Offered in a range of timeless colors, Johnstons sweaters are perfect for layering but breathable enough for year-round use.
