Known for their traceable and sustainable supply chain, Johnstons of Elgin controls every step of production. With very high standards and extensive quality control measures, Johnstons has perfected kiting skills over generations, resulting in truly exceptional sweaters. Johnstons sources their Merino wool from Australian free-range Legacy Merino flocks. Wool from their soft innermost coat is dyed, blended, and spun in Scotland. Individual trim pieces are knitted separately and hand-joined—one loop at a time. The sweater is washed in the soft waters of The River Teviot to unveil a soft touch and final trimmings are added by hand. Offered in a range of timeless colors, Johnstons men’s Merino wool crew and V-neck sweaters are suitable for layering, or can be styled on their own. Naturally breathable, our men’s Merino sweaters are designed for year-round use.
