Known for their vertical supply chain, Johnstons of Elgin controls every stage of production; from raw fiber to final stitch, they produce knitwear of the highest possible quality. Johnstons sources their Merino wool from free-range flocks of legacy Merino sheep, in Australia. Wool from their soft, innermost coat is dyed, blended, and spun by Johnstons in Scotland. Individual components are knitted separately and transferred to the main knitting frame, where they are joined by hand. The sweater is washed in the soft waters of The River Teviot to unveil a soft. Offered in a range of essential colors, our collection of men’s Johnstons of Elgin Merino wool sweaters are ideal for layering. Naturally breathable, they afford year-round comfort.
