This two-ply Lambswool cardigan is crafted expressly for The Lanam Shop using the finest lambswool yarns from South Australia. Handcrafted in Hawick, Scotland using yarn spun by Z. Hinchliffe & Sons of Yorkshire, our two-ply Lambswool cardigan provides unsurpassed warmth and value. Lambswool is collected from the first shearing of young lambs, usually between the ages of 5-7 months. This raw wool is extremely fine and the undercoat is rich with lanolin, providing the finished sweater with strength and softness. Careful attention to detail is evident throughout the 30 step manufacturing process. Panels are knitted on antique knitting machines, hand-linked, feature hand-sewn finishings, and are washed using soft water from The River Teviot. Offered in a range of essential, timeless colors, our lambswool sweater has proven a perennial favorite ideal for layering on colder days or warm enough to be worn on its own. Featuring hand-set details including ribbed turn-back cuffs, ribbed collar, and ribbed waist. Beautifully styled with hand-worked pockets and a set-in shoulder. Handmade in Scotland.
