"Zeus sent out two eagles, one from each side of the ancient world. They came together in the middle, the center of the world, in Delphi. A gab in the rocks under this holy place released steam. Whoever was inhaling that steam fell in deep inner quietness and was able to give well-balanced advises. That’s what the Delphi oracle was famous for.

Our glasses are not the center of the world. Calm mood and well-balanced visions, however, might come from inside the glass, depending on what’s in it. But for making great glasses, we have to bring together different aspekts. Joining things from diverging ends may accelerate their features more than just adding up. From the soil into the roots through the trunk of the vine, the sweet grape is born - for being collected and processed carefully by the skilled and experienced vintner. Rooting in the tradition of solid and well-trained craft our workers align with the inspiration and knowledge of our design team. Before sunrise the glassblowers start working: they are gathering the fluid glass from the fire in the furnace, then they are going on with shaping it, blowing, cutting, engraving and gilding, step by step, move by move, hand by hand, they createbeauty.
