Known for their unique vertical approach and sustainable supply chain, Johnstons of Elgin controls every stage of cashmere production— from goat to final stitch. With the highest standards and rigorous quality control measures, Johnstons has perfected sweater making over generations, resulting in some of the finest men’s cashmere knitwear imaginable. The cashmere originates from free-range Mongolian herds and is carded, blended, dyed, and spun by Johnstons in Scotland. The individual trim pieces are knitted separately and then transferred to the main knitting frame by hand, one stitch at a time. Once the body of the sweater has taken shape, it is washed in the soft waters of The River Teviot and final touches are executed by hand. Offered in a range of timeless colors, this two-ply cashmere crew neck sweater is perfect for layering on cold days but breathable enough for year-round comfort. Natural shoulder, deepened armhole, ribbed cuff and waist detailing all help to enhance the comfort and wearability of this men's cashmere crew sweaters.
