King Richard Child's Sterling Silver Flatware Set

Introduced in 1932, the design appears to be deeply carved so the details stand out clearly, offsetting the central ornamental shield mimicking those carried by knights during the crusades and the pointed oval top and neck framed in curling leaves. The confident styling will elevate every meal into a festive dining experience, and enhance traditional and formal settings. Polish your sterling silver once or twice a year, whether or not it has been used regularly. Hand wash and dry immediately with a chamois or soft cotton cloth to avoid spotting. Hollow Handle Pieces

Hollow handle is a term used to describe a standard method of flatware construction. These pieces have a sterling silver handle with an interior portion where a shafted piece is cemented secure — most knives and some large serving pieces use this construction method. Typically, the upper portion of the piece is made using 18/10 stainless steel or hardened steel if it is a knife blade.
