This two-ply men’s Scottish Lambswool cardigan is crafted expressly for The Lanam Shop. Knit with yarn spun by Z. Hinchliffe & Sons of Yorkshire, only the finest lambswool fiber from South Australia is used. Hand-crafted in Hawick, Scotland our two-ply Lambswool cardigan provides unsurpassed warmth. Lambswool is wool fiber collected from the first shearing of young lambs, usually between the ages of 5-7 months. This raw wool is extremely fine and the undercoat is rich with lanolin, providing the finished sweater with strength and softness. Panels of this men’s lambswool v-neck cardigan are knitted on antique machines, hand-linked, hand-sewn, and washed with soft water from The River Teviot. Offered in a large range of colors, our men’s lambswool cardigan has proven a perennial favorite— ideal for layering on colder. Featuring hand-set details including ribbed straight cuffs, ribbed collar, and ribbed waist. Beautifully styled with hand-worked front pockets and an English-country saddle shoulder. This men’s lambswool sweater is handmade in Scotland.
