The original "Gorham Grey Finish" is still in use, so pieces from this collection have a satin finish, congruent with original Gorham designs. This is not a factory error. With use and repeated hand-polishing the finish will gradually become shinier. On request, prior to purchase, we can professionally buff the item to a shinier state – this will make the items appear visually closer to older sets but will also make the item Final Sale and have an extended lead time.

We ONLY sell new, factory-direct flatware. We do not purchase, sell, appraise, or restore vintage pieces. We cannot buy from you or advise on the sale of a vintage set.

Shipping Policy Summary:

Free (2-6 day) ground shipping to the United States over $150. Flat Rate Shipping: $7.95 under $150 to the USA, $55 to Canada (DDP), and $75 to all other locations (DAP). For International shipments only: DDP (Delivery Duties Paid; no additional taxes should be due on delivery) and DAP (Delivery at Place; additional taxes, duties, and fees may be due subject to local laws). We cannot determine in advance duties for countries we ship to on a DAP basis. DDP to Canada is for orders with a pre-tax & shipping total of $400 USD.
