Legacy Silverware

Legacy Silverware silverplate is crafted using a pure silver top coating on a nickel silver base. A strong alloy designed expressly for this purpose, nickel silver is comprised of a special blend of copper, zinc, and nickel. This durable base is then plated with pure silver, to a thickness of 20 microns. With use, silverplated cutlery will also develop a nice patina, similar to that of sterling. For those with negative preconceived notions about silverplate, it is extremely durable and easy to care for. In the event the plating should show signs of wear, it can be easily and cost effectively re-dipped.

Since Legacy Silverware makes these pieces to order, a variety of personalization can be made including knife blade style, blade finish, engraving, hallmarks, and gold embellishments. Shipping Policy Summary:

Free (2-6 day) ground shipping to the United States over $150. Flat Rate Shipping: $7.95 under $150 to the USA, $55 to Canada (DDP), and $75 to all other locations (DAP). For International shipments only: DDP (Delivery Duties Paid; no additional taxes should be due on delivery) and DAP (Delivery at Place; additional taxes, duties, and fees may be due subject to local laws). We cannot determine in advance duties for countries we ship to on a DAP basis. DDP to Canada is for orders with a pre-tax & shipping total of $400 USD.
