MARKTHOMAS creates exceptional glassware in traditional European glass manufacturing facilities, reflecting century spanning craftsmanship, handed down from one generation to the next. Each glass is hand-blown from lead-free crystal and specially designed to offer an unrivaled tasting experience. The design is simple, yet deliberate and is meant to appeal to the senses – visually, texturally and with each lingering sip.

The stemware has extremely thin walls (approx. 0.6 mm), is ultra-light, and very well-balanced in the hand – form follows function. The base of each bowl is cone-shaped and the unique “bends” help to optimally aerate the wine as well as focus the wine's aromas.

The “Double Bend Allround” glass also offers an additional, unique aspect through its design: the double-bend(s) marks a typical wine “tasting” pour at the lower bend of the bowl, and a “full” pour at the upper bend. The upper bend also signifies the widest point in diameter of the glass – for maximum surface area and air exposure – and optimum enhancement of the tasting experience for the customer.

Finally, Mark Thomas wine glasses are also dishwasher safe, meeting today’s stringent requirements for both commercial and private use in the hospitality area. Frequent washing will not cloud the glass nor reduce the transparency of the crystalline. This has been achieved as a result of the exclusion of lead oxide in each manufacturing step, resulting in lead-free crystal of superior quality and maximum enjoyment.
