Designed by Robert Berking, the Avenue collection in sterling silver by Robbe & Berking is richly detailed and impeccably hand-finished using time-honored silversmithing techniques. Avenue harnesses the qualities of fine sterling silver in a bold, artistic way—no material is able to reflect light so intensely, while remining understated and elegant. The sculpted semi-circular silver ridges in the Avenue sterling flatware pattern create space for light to reflect and shadows to dance with movement. The back of the sterling flatware features the same delicate ridges. Attention to detail is paramount—even where it's not immediately noticeable.

Hollow Handle Pieces

Hollow handle is a term used to describe a standard method of flatware construction. These pieces have a sterling silver handle with an interior portion where a shafted piece is cemented secure — most knives and some large serving pieces use this construction method. Typically, the upper portion of the piece is made using 18/10 stainless steel or hardened steel if it is a knife blade.

Shipping Policy Summary:

Free (2-6 day) ground shipping to the United States over $150. Flat Rate Shipping: $7.95 under $150 to the USA, $55 to Canada (DDP), and $75 to all other locations (DAP). For International shipments only: DDP (Delivery Duties Paid; no additional taxes should be due on delivery) and DAP (Delivery at Place; additional taxes, duties, and fees may be due subject to local laws). We cannot determine in advance duties for countries we ship to on a DAP basis. DDP to Canada is for orders with a pre-tax & shipping total of $400 USD.
