The individual sweater panels are knitted on century-old machines, hand-linked, feature hand-sewn & handknit finishings, and are washed using the soft waters of The River Teviot—affording the finished knits a lustrous and soft finish. Perfect added under a sport coat or as a versatile layer to coordinate with button-down shirts, our two-ply men's pure camel hair sweater vest is ideal for experiencing the warmth camel hair has to offer without too significant bulk. Knitted in Hawick, Scotland, expressly for The Lanam Shop, we use premium Z. Hinchliffe & Sons yarn spun in the English countryside in all our camel hair sweaters. Fiber combed from the soft underbelly of the Two-Humped Bactrian Camel of Mongolia is left in its natural, undyed color. This slip-over vest is knit by antique machines and follows a strict 30-step manufacturing process — much of which is carried out by hand. The panels of this men's V-neck vest are hand-linked, and the details are handknit. Washed in the soft, natural waters of the local River Teviot, our camel hair knitwear has softness and luster unmatched by any other wool. Handcrafted in Scotland of English yarn.
