The hair or "hair-wool" used in crafting our two-ply sweater options and camel hair cardigan sweater styles originates from those on the underbelly of the Two-Humped Bactrian Camel, native to the Gobi Desert. Warmer than just about any wool, camel hair has remarkable insulating properties, partly because of the high concentration of lanolin — a waxy oil found within their coat.
