Lobmeyr Hoffman Goblets
Between 1910 and 1914 Josef Hoffmann designed a series of splendid goblets for Lobmeyr.
The precise cutting of the cuppa takes the craftsman to the edge of his abilities – as well as the polishing, executed in three consecutive steps as to keep the edges crisp. The goblet was first presented at the 1914 Werkbund exhibition in Cologne; subsequently, it was sold at the stores of the Wiener Werkstätte.
