A classic Lovat Mill design, this complex basketweave motif has been taken directly from the Company’s design archives. Made with pure, hypoallergenic lambswool this beautiful “rug” (the Scottish name for a throw blanket) is bursting with Scottish tradition. Inspired by the natural colors of the rugged Scottish countryside, the combination of materials, craftsmanship, and design is distinctly Lovat. Perfectly sized to keep a hugging couple warm, the cold and rain of the bleak Scottish Borders melts away. Made for us by Lovat Mill in Hawick, Scotland. A world-renowned mill, Lovat produces the finest tweeds, many of which are used by top Savile Row firms, under a private label—affectionately referred to as “the home of tweed.”

Strange nickname. Hugging a rug does not appeal. But it’s warm, a good size, and soft enough.

Free (2-6 day) ground shipping to the United States over $150. Flat Rate Shipping: $7.95 under $150 to the USA, $55 to Canada (DDP), and $75 to all other locations (DAP). For International shipments only: DDP (Delivery Duties Paid; no additional taxes should be due on delivery) and DAP (Delivery at Place; additional taxes, duties, and fees may be due subject to local laws). We cannot determine in advance duties for countries we ship to on a DAP basis. DDP to Canada is for orders with a pre tax & shipping total of $400 USD.
