Revered the world-over as the finest natural material in existence, Vicuña products have been sought after symbols of elegance for generations. First introduced to the European market by Johnstons of Elgin at the 1851 Great Exhibition in London, their pure Vicuña stole was unlike anything on the market at the time. Weightless, warm, and unimaginably soft, the popularity of Vicuña among the London elite quickly grew. Native to the mountain plateaus of the Andes in South America, Vicuñas exist only in the wild and cannot be bred in captivity. The high-altitude environment exposes them to bone-chilling cold, yet their outer coat is extremely thin. Each Vicuña produces less than one pound of wool fiber every two years and it takes all the members of several Peruvian mountain villages to catch, collect, and release them. This piece joins the long legacy of excellence in Vicuña and Cashmere, producing an exquisite garment.

Free (2-6 day) ground shipping to the United States over $150. Flat Rate Shipping: $7.95 under $150 to the USA, $55 to Canada (DDP), and $75 to all other locations (DAP). For International shipments only: DDP (Delivery Duties Paid; no additional taxes should be due on delivery) and DAP (Delivery at Place; additional taxes, duties, and fees may be due subject to local laws). We cannot determine in advance duties for countries we ship to on a DAP basis. DDP to Canada is for orders with a pre tax & shipping total of $400 USD.
