Mitchell's Individual Country Scene Soap Bars
The original wool fat soap bar, handcrafted in small batches in the English countryside by Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap Company. Available in three sizes, these individually packed soaps are a true English tradition. Packaged in the delightful country paper, boxed sets of three are also available. Mildly fragranced, with natural ingredients—smelling of the soaps of yester-year.
First produced in the early 1930’s by Bradford chemist Fred Mitchell who realized that the natural lanolin content of wool fat, which kept the hands of local sheep shearers and wool sorters so exceptionally soft, could also be beneficial to delicate complexions and sensitive skins. A simple and natural product, this soap is still made to Mr. Mitchell’s original formula, based on a recipe from the turn of the century and incorporating lanolin from the wool fat as the key ingredient.

Free (2-6 day) ground shipping to the United States over $150. Flat Rate Shipping: $7.95 under $150 to the USA, $55 to Canada (DDP), and $75 to all other locations (DAP). For International shipments only: DDP (Delivery Duties Paid; no additional taxes should be due on delivery) and DAP (Delivery at Place; additional taxes, duties, and fees may be due subject to local laws). We cannot determine in advance duties for countries we ship to on a DAP basis. DDP to Canada is for orders with a pre tax & shipping total of $400 USD.
